Waiting & Waiting Well

But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.(Romans 8:25 AMP)

The Bible admonishes us on how to wait; that the things we are hoping for, the things that we are trusting God for that we wait for them with 'patience and composure'

I used to be terrible at waiting; my very nature in being a Type A Personality and high energy means that I do most things very quickly and fast.

I have tried to run ahead of the bus to catch it and missed it! But as I grow up in age and in the Lord I am learning that when it comes to waiting for God to bring manifestation to anything I'm trusting Him for I've got to be patient; I have learned patience by not focusing all my attention on the 'Thing' but learn to turn your attention to God and to your daily life. Whenever that 'Thing' comes to mind you simply say 'Thank You Father for Perfecting All That Concerns Me'.

Our heart gets sick when all we do is focus every waking moment of our lives on the thing we are hoping for, scripture aptly says it like this "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12 AMP)

So my dear Sarah be encouraged and learn to wait well because 'surely there is an end and your hope and expectation will not be cut off'

Waiting with you
